Harald Staudinger is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of ASPOMA Asset Management. He is the fund manager of all ASPOMA investment funds and responsible for all investment decisions across ASPOMA’s strategies.

Harald has more than 25 years of investment expertise for Asian and global equites. Prior to co-founding ASPOMA in 2010 he was a fund manager for Asian and global equity funds with Pioneer Investments in Munich and Dublin for ten years and a fund manager for institutional investment funds at a German asset manager for four years.

Harald is a CFA Charter holder and has been lecturing investment management at University Linz for more than 15 years and holds a PhD from University Linz, Austria

Clemens Kustner is head of research of ASPOMA Asset Management. He works closely together with our local analyst teams in Japan and China.

Clemens is a corporate valuation specialist with more than 25 years of experience in fundamental valuation analysis in the areas of asset management, mergers & acquisitions and academic research.

​

Prior to co-founding ASPOMA Asset Management in 2010 Clemens worked in investment banking for JP Morgen, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley for 14 years.

​

Clemens holds a PhD and MBA degree from University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Koya Tabata is head of research in Japan. He has more than 25 years of experience in company research (due diligence, financial modelling and valuation) and strong industrial knowledge in the consumer, healthcare, technology and alternative energy sectors in Asia.

Before joining ASPOMA in 2014 he spent 15 years working for Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse in investment banking, mergers & acquisitions and equity research.

​

Koya holds a Master of Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Science University of Tokyo.

Florian Renner is part of the investment team and responsible for the operational processes of the investment funds.

Florian has professional experience in the portfolio management of HNWIs and corporate clients.

Before joining ASPOMA, he gained experience in Asia (studied business in Hong Kong, lived and worked in Taiwan).

He holds a degree from the University Linz in Finance and International Management.

Yoko Kimura is a member of our research team for Japan with a strong background in technology and engineering.

Yoko has a B.A. in information and communication technology from Kumamoto national college of technology.
